Why is the act of sending obscene pictures wrong

Presence of assent

The other person’s consent is very important for this kind of act. Let’s say the sender is the boss, colleague, or teacher, and they are sending inappropriate images and videos without the recipient’s permission. It is against the will and law.

Let’s consider a second scenario in which two people are dating. They once engaged in sexual activity. They are sexting, even though the sender must ask the receiver whether he or she is willing to get these photos. Then it is unlawful and prohibited. And if the sender keeps sending those photos even though the receiver has already requested it.

Against privateness

Here, the question is how it is against the right to privacy? Sending these kinds of pictures shows that the sender is willing to engage in sexual activity with the recipient. And it’s up to you to decide whether or not you want to have a sexual relationship.

Privacy is not limited to physical space but is a state of mind. This prevents a person from experiencing the mental peace that is contrary to their right to privacy, and this prevents them from having that mental peace and mental space. If someone sends a person obscene photos and videos without their permission, they could experience mental stress and anxiety.
